Why Am I the One Called Nam Yi? (Nani I Nam Yi?)

I opened my eyes and found that I had become Nam Yi.

I had clearly died in an explosion while fighting Chinese public security officers and North Korean security agents in an abandoned mine on the outskirts of Shenyang, China. But when I woke up alive, I was inside a military barracks near the Pajŏ River in Manchuria. I had become General Nam Yi, the northern expedition commander who was executed for treason at the age of twenty-six and was the youngest Minister of War in Joseon.

Since it has come to this, I’ll change things. For the sake of a future in which pitiful descendants won’t be bullied by the Japanese or the Chinese, and won’t have to live split apart into north and south.
