About Poison Pavilion

Most webnovels are written in Chinese and Korean, on platforms like Qidian, Fanqie, Zongheng, KakaoPage and Naver Series. Only a small share are ever translated, and finding the rest means searching each platform in its own language. Poison Pavilion puts them in one place, in English, so you can find your next novel whatever language it was written in, and read it where it's published.

What you'll find here

  • Novels worth starting. Long ones (200+ chapters, or a shorter completed novel that readers liked), either finished or still updating. Dropped and long-paused novels are left out.
  • In English. Titles, genres, tags and synopses are machine-translated, so you can search, filter and browse in English. Where a novel already has a well-known English title, you can search by that too.
  • Fresh. We check the platforms every hour. Every novel shows its latest chapter and when we last checked.
  • Honest numbers. Views, favorites and ratings are each platform's own, and say so. Ratings from readers here, like the poison rating, appear only once enough readers have voted.
  • The poison rating. In webnovel slang, "poison" (毒点) is a plot choice that ruins a novel for many readers. Readers here rate how poisonous a novel is, from Harmless to Lethal, so you know before you commit hundreds of chapters.

What we don't do

  • We don't host chapters. Every novel links to its page on the platform that publishes it (or an official licensed platform carrying it), so authors and platforms get the readers.
  • We don't sell your data. Browsing needs no account, analytics use no cookies, and you can sign in without sharing an email at all. See Privacy.

How it's made

A small, polite crawler reads each platform's public catalog the way a visitor would, respecting its rules and slowing down when asked. Each novel is translated once, when it's added. The site is supported by ads, which keep it free.

New to reading raws?

Most of these novels are only on their original platforms. Our guide to reading raws shows the free ways to read them in English, and Tags explained covers what cultivation, murim, regression and the rest mean.
