Magicians whisper in the shadows of the towering spires, and by now there are few who can still hear their windlike murmurs.

In the twenty-second year of the New Calendar, I returned to my old homeland, and the mage tower lay hidden beneath the shade of plane and oak leaves.

It was the end of an era and the beginning of a new world. It was also the end of a myth and the beginning of more legends.

The collision of two worlds, the war between two kinds of power, the blood and tears of countless races, the wailing of billions of living beings... This painting is formed by ambition, blood, hatred, plunder, confusion, and joy, and I was there at the beginning. On one bright morning, I took the first step of my journey.

This world was already no longer the one I knew.
