I Only Know How to Ride the Hype!

That year...

The down-on-his-luck transmigrator Zhou Yang looked at the looming global premiere of Superman 2 and resolutely took the film he had shot in half a month, The Monkey King vs. Superman 2, and released it ahead of time...

He only wanted to ride on Superman 2’s popularity a little and make some money...

But unexpectedly, Superman 2 was crushed by the hype he stole.

After that year, countless Hollywood blockbusters shivered in the shadow of Zhou Yang, the man who only knew how to ride trends...

Hollywood had King of Beasts, and China had King of Beasts too!

Hollywood had Pacific Rim, and China had Around Great Pacific!

Hollywood had Transformers, and China had Transforming Steel Bars!

...

“What the hell is film art?”

“I don’t understand at all. I only know how to ride trends!”

“They make whatever they make, and I’ll ride their trend too. If they’re fast, I’ll be even faster!”
