After losing her mother and growing up in her maternal family, Shen Yujin, the young lady of the Linyang Marquisate, loses the uncle and maternal cousins who loved her more than anyone else in the world, and returns to the imperial capital for marriage.

But then.......

“Something terrible has happened, something terrible! Yigeya ran away with the Third Young Lady during the night!”

Her intended husband, the top scholar Pei Yuanlang, has eloped with her half-sister. On top of that, the people of her paternal family, the Linyang Marquisate, are pressuring her to marry Jin Lang, the future son-in-law who is the greatest idle playboy in the imperial capital, for the sake of the family’s reputation.

‘Even if my husband changes, I’ll still hold power and money in my hands. One day, I will definitely take revenge on the Shen family!’

To restore the fallen Shen family, Shen Yujin decides to accept the match with Jin Lang, the young prince of the Prince of Zhenbei’s residence.

Since it’s an emotionless marriage anyway, wouldn’t it be fine to get along properly for about a year and then divorce? On their wedding night, Shen Yujin proposes a divorce to Jin Lang.

“Didn’t we just hold the wedding yesterday, and today you’re talking about divorce?”

But this man doesn’t seem to have any intention of letting her go.
