Xiao Zhang Crown Prince Travelogue

Fantasy · Historical · Comedy

A gods-and-demons novel, written half in classical Chinese and half in vernacular Chinese, in the style of a chaptered and episodic romance.

Through the rise and fall of several lifetimes, one seeks goodness.

With three thousand worries, one must still resolve them oneself.

Only then can true attainment begin.

Opening poem:

In the vast sea of clouds,

a lone leaf, a small boat.

The sour, sweet, bitter, and spicy of the human world

all drift away with the east-flowing water.

A memory of youth ages,

and the years flow on and on.

Take winter, spring, summer, and autumn lightly,

with endless sorrow in the cup.
