The Young Concubine Wants to Live Quietly

She possessed a supporting character in a reverse harem novel—an infant concubine who pines after the female lead, causes trouble for the concubine male leads, and is eventually framed for treason and killed.

The good news is that she possessed her right after entering the imperial palace.

Everyone in the palace was wary of her, but they did not dislike her yet.

"Don’t act up. Let’s just behave ourselves."

She didn’t need the emperor’s love, nor did she want it.

The concubine male leads did give her some side-eye, but if she kept her head down, that would be enough.

It really didn’t seem like a difficult thing, so she did exactly that.

She definitely did.

"Come to my quarters tonight. I’ll read you a fairy tale!"

"D-don’t cry. I’ll give you this."

But why is everyone’s attitude so soft and gentle?

She couldn’t understand it. And she was flustered.

"...I don’t need this?"

She wasn’t some love-starved child, and those gazes that looked at her as if she were the most adorable thing in the world were very uncomfortable.

What would she even do with picture books full of jewels and silk, or the royal treasure, the wish-granting pearl?

Enough already—she just wanted everyone to get out of her palace.
