The Second Coming of Gluttony

“The son of Gula has returned.”

I lived my life consumed by gambling.

I turned my back on my family and betrayed my girlfriend.

I spent every day wasting away.

It was a trash life.

Reality said it clearly:

no matter what I did, I was worthless.

To change that miserable reality, I chose the unreal.

But there too, it was the same.

I thought that after hardship, happiness would come,

but I was helplessly forced to my knees before a huge force.

The tower I had built with such effort turned to foam.

At least once, I wanted to know my true self.
