The First Pure Stream of Confucianism and Daoism

The opening of heaven and earth by Pangu split into one breath that became the sea clan's dragon qi, one that became the demon clan's demon qi, and one that became the human clan's scholarly qi. Thus, the sea clan was the first to awaken and control the boundless seas; the demon clan came next and mastered the ten thousand mountains.

A thousand years ago, however, a sage awakened scholarly qi and, by himself, freed the human race from slavery and being raised as food, taking root in the ten thousand mountains and the boundless seas.
