Starting in 2029, the entire world gradually began to disappear for no known reason, including everything, people and animals alike. The phenomenon spread from the 30th parallel north across the Atlantic toward the Pacific and India.

The story takes place in 2038. South America, North America, Oceania, Australia, Russia, and the northern cities of China have already disappeared.

But only Sichuan Basin and Tibet in China remain unaffected. As a result, all of the country’s political institutions have been established in Sichuan for in-depth research, including hundreds of recovery teams; Chu Ge’s team is one of them, mainly tasked with collecting clues related to the vanished regions.

There are no explosions, no ruins, as if these places had never existed at all.

They go deep into abandoned cities, underwater civilizations, sky ruins, and lunar bases, recovering the last sparks of human civilization while gradually uncovering the shocking secret behind the world.
