The Carnivorous Hunter

At the sky, sea, and land all over the world, holes opened up. From those holes poured all kinds of monsters that should never have existed in this world. The world was destroyed, and people awakened special abilities. The survivors scattered and hid everywhere, struggling to live like insects.

And in that hellish world, the ability I was given was to take other awakened people’s abilities.

"It’s ironic. I’m humanity’s hope, yet I have the ability that threatens humanity the most."

"I don’t want to throw away my humanity just to survive alone."

"We can... win, right?"

"We absolutely will."

The destroyed world was not as forgiving as it is in novels, and humanity’s survival is still in progress.
