*Straightforward loyal F1 racer x beautiful, gentle female celebrity

-

In her biggest year, Wen Wannning was filming in Northeast China.

On a snowy night at minus twenty degrees, the nanny van broke down halfway up the mountain.

Not long after the repair shop call got disconnected, a battered Santana came drifting around the bend into the wind and screeched to a stop in front of her.

Back then, Ling Ye was seventeen, casually tossing an old schoolbag into the snowbank, with more screwdrivers and wrenches than textbooks. He had his school uniform collar pulled all the way up, frost hanging on his long eyelashes, and his black eyes were indifferent as a knife.

On a whim, Wen Wannning brought him back to Shanghai.

She took Ling Ye to get a hearing aid, accompanied him to Disneyland, and watched him break records all over Shanghai’s tracks, astonishing top European racing scouts as a rare prodigy.

At twenty-one, Wen Wannning discovered a star in the grit.

She had once thought she would be the female celebrity sister behind a world champion.

Until the day after the graduation play, hungover, she suddenly sobered up and remembered how, the night before, she had acted like a beast and tried to kiss those tense thin lips.

And Ling Ye, the taciturn one, did not dodge.

“From Jagdaqi to Shanghai, from Shanghai to Northampton, over two thousand days and nights, more than thirteen thousand kilometers of road—that was my complete longing and loyalty, never once wavering, all offered to you.”

Tips:

1. Cool younger male lead with single eyelids / the male lead’s secret love comes true / five-year age gap;

2. Reunion from the opening / contains lots of flashbacks;

3. The protagonists have no real-life prototypes / F1
