Secret Cases of the Jinyiwei

A Western Regions envoy delegation mysteriously disappears within the territory of the Great Ming. Emperor Hongwu orders Chen Cheng and Liu Zhe to separately lead the Jinyiwei and the Six Gates to investigate the case, only to discover that the background of the case is far from simple.

Many princes are implicated, and in the end it is found that Crown Grandson Zhu Yunwen used this method to ensure that he could smoothly inherit the throne. Although the envoy case is solved, the result is suppressed by Hongwu.
