Roses and the Fiery Rifle

"Their flesh and blood will forge my glory, becoming the honor I pursue all my life."

In June of some year, two major events happened at the Qingcheng Public Security Bureau.

The first: the narcotics squad welcomed a female captain named Gu Ji, who could make a bouquet out of throwing darts.

The second: a police badge that had been shelved for ten years was reactivated, and its inheritor was this very female captain.

In June of some year, two major events happened to Song Yanci, the captain of the major crimes unit.

The first: he found his idol.

The second: he wanted to pursue a girl.

—

"Captain Gu, I, Song Yanci, have a decent face, am a model of both sports and literary talent, have a clean family background and family business, and absolutely support my partner's career."

"And then?"

"So I'm good enough to match you, good enough to fight side by side with you."

"And then?"

"A rookie and a pair of iron fists—it only makes sense."

—

"We must inherit the spirit of our predecessors, hold our heads high and straighten our collars, fear neither hardship nor wolves and tigers ahead, and use our loyal bones to protect the sea watched over by our predecessors."

[Looks like a wolf pup, but is actually a mad dog major crimes captain & a straight-talking, cool narcotics captain returning from undercover work]
