Romance of the Three Kingdoms: Seizing Dong Zhuo to Eliminate Rebels

Three Kingdoms · Invincible · Emperor · Mastermind

What was the main reason for the decline of the Eastern Han?

The great clans seized power, noble houses protected one another, and local magnates annexed everything in sight.

At court, it looks as though hundreds of officials stand in orderly ranks, but behind them lies a vast web stretching in every direction.

Upward, that web turns the ruler into a caged bird, toyed with at will.

Downward, it turns the common people into fish in a net, butchered as they please.

After transmigrating into the world of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, he becomes the nine-year-old Liu Xie. Dong Zhuo’s deposition and enthronement plot is only one month away.

Faced with such a beginning, Liu Xie originally planned to train himself well and scheme slowly.

After Dong Zhuo’s death, he would step out at once, seize control of power, keep Wang Yun from taking office, and use that chance to turn the situation around and rebuild the Han.

But unexpectedly, he actually has a system.

With a cheat ability in hand, Liu Xie no longer plans to proceed so slowly.

In history, Chancellor Cao could hold the Son of Heaven hostage to command the disobedient.

Then why can I not hold Dong Zhuo hostage to wipe out the disobedient?

What? Your family has held the rank of Three Excellencies for four generations, and you are utterly loyal to the Han?

I know you are a loyal subject. But with the traitor Dong in power, if your family is wiped out, that is Dong Zhuo’s doing, not mine.

What? You saw Dong Zhuo send his granddaughter into the imperial palace?

Ah, beloved subject, that is merely the traitor Dong sending her into the palace under the pretense of serving me, so she can spy on me.

What? You saw Dong Zhuo being perfectly respectful and obedient before me?

Ah, that is merely the traitor Dong’s trick to deceive the people of the world.

What? You even saw me slap the traitor Dong twice, and he still knelt and begged forgiveness?

You know far too much.

On your way to the execution ground, do not worry. Your wife and children will soon be sent to join you.
