This is a somewhat slow-burn story, not a satisfying novel where the protagonist is invincible from the start.

The time-traveler Roy wakes up to find that he has arrived in the Sootopolis area at Sootopolis Volcano and has awakened a heat value system.

As long as he raises the popularity value of Ghost-type Pokémon, he can exchange the accumulated heat value for items in the system shop.

Because of this, he has no choice but to set out on the path of gaining heat value, but somehow, as he keeps going, he ends up at the battle arena of the Eight Masters?

Now, let us welcome the first of the Eight Masters, the newly appointed champion of the Unova League... Roy!!!!

Let’s hear what the people around him think of him:

Flint: "Roy, why is your Mismagius so big, so strong!"

Roy: Are you being polite? Call her Sister Fa!

Daiwu: Roy is the most evil... tactical trainer I have ever seen.

Mikuri: Bastard, total bastard!

Cynthia: ... (blushing, saying nothing)
