Pokémon Fanfic: Time and Tsukuran

Shi Lv's parents were prized disciples of Professor Oak. Using the Shi family's ability to communicate with Pokémon, they devoted their lives to studying the deeper connections between Pokémon. This ability also made the Shi family a target of Team Rocket. After refusing to join them, the family resisted in vain, leaving only the child Shi Lv. The orphan was taken in by Professor Oak and grew up to become a researcher who maintains the balance between Pokémon and humans.

She first met Sinnoh Champion Cynthia at an Alliance summer camp. Back then, they were both still children, full of longing for travel and a little anxious. One was a warm and enthusiastic older-sister type, the other a silent, gloomy bookworm. When the sun shines, even reluctant ice will melt.

Unreasonable events keep happening one after another, but Cynthia is never afraid of her strength. Filled with love for Pokémon, they each set out on their journeys and often reunite, until they become embedded in each other's lives bit by bit. In the end, one becomes the Sinnoh Champion, and the other an Alliance special researcher. The world of Pokémon still exists, and so does their story.
