Love in the 1960s

Historical Romance

This is a love story set in northeastern China in the 1960s. In that conservative era, in that time when people did not easily say “love,” a young man and woman who grew up together hand in hand entered married life, had children, and experienced the bitterness and sweetness of life together.

A husband and wife in their youth become companions in old age; they use a lifetime to tell the world that love is actually mixed into the daily necessities, hidden in ordinary life itself.
