Live in the Battlefield

Writer Lee Su-baek, who knows how to put people into stories, is back with a new fusion historical novel, Living in the Battlefield.

“Rome is, in the end, the crowd. If you win the crowd’s favor, you can strike at the emperor.”

Kim Muho, a senior master sergeant in the 1st Airborne Special Forces Brigade, is caught up in an accident during parachute training.

Thinking he had died, he opens his eyes to find himself in the Colosseum of Rome.

Not only has he become a cripple, but he’s also being told to kill Emperor Commodus.

Even while crossing the line between life and death, this extreme man, never losing his sense of humor, lives each day as Tiguris Fulminis, risking his life to return to the original world.
