I’m Not a Detective

A smart and handsome youth accidentally travels to Hokkaido and meets a calm, clever, black-haired detective girl. In a world where the Japanese police are called “a bunch of freeloaders who only collect their paychecks,” the two work together to solve countless mysterious cases through brilliant reasoning and deduction...

Of course, that is impossible.

What this story is actually about is a youth who is struck by lightning and sent to Hokkaido, then by chance meets a fool of a detective girl who is said to be “the brains of Toyama Town” and a “future great detective and great police officer,” and then, with a friendly smile, squeezes every last drop of value out of this fool.
