I transmigrated into the martial arts novel I was reading.

I can’t remember whether a friend recommended it to me, or whether I just happened to find it.

What matters is that this wuxia novel... has the setting of a war between the demonic cult and the jianghu that has lasted for a hundred years.

That alone is terrible enough, but the martial world is also destined to sink into even greater despair in the future.

And I’m the only one who knows this, even though I don’t have even a shred of talent in martial arts.

Still, the original story hasn’t started yet, so there’s still hope.

I have to survive the Heavenly Demon, recover my missing memories, and aim for a happy ending.

So I do everything I can to change the ending: I meet the protagonist when he’s young, become friends with the protagonist’s elder sister, and gather all the fortuitous encounters from the original story.

Just when it seems like things are progressing exactly according to my plan(?)...

What does that even mean?

Why is this development not going the way I expected?
