Former Sword Saint

Martial Arts · Xianxia · Drama

The Jingcheon Sect, which had stood as the number one sect in the world for hundreds of years, is destroyed. Along with the sect’s destruction, the long slumber of the Heaven-Slaying Demon Sword, a sword with a self-aware will and the sacred object of the Jingcheon Sect’s successive sect leaders, comes to an end.

When the Heaven-Slaying Demon Sword finally awakens, it senses that something is strange. In order to awaken it, one’s martial arts cultivation must have reached the peak of the highest realm, but the descendant now holding the sword is, no matter how generously one judges, close to third-rate.

And the truth that is revealed is something even the Heaven-Slaying Demon Sword, which has lived for hundreds of years, finds unfamiliar.

The Jingcheon Sect’s last descendant burned his innate qi and life to awaken the Heaven-Slaying Demon Sword in place of his insufficient cultivation.

Soon, the Heaven-Slaying Demon Sword learns that its consciousness has entered the body of the dead descendant.

And it also learns that the Jingcheon Sect it had accompanied for hundreds of years has been annihilated.

Tremble.

And revere.

The demonic sword revived across the passage of time and the vengeance of the Jingcheon Sect will burn the entire Central Plains.
