On the eve of what is called the Fifth Holy Grail War, the ley lines of Fuyuki City begin to stir abnormally.
Tohsaka Rin, a girl burdened with her family's glory and a magus's pride, chants the summoning spell inside her ancestral workshop. What she seeks is a sword sharp enough to sever fate, a key to the "Root."
What descends, however, is the extraterrestrial Herrscher who should have vanished in the cocoon of the end —
"Nice to meet you, my dear Master! Just call me Elysia♪"
The pink-haired, pointy-eared girl lands gracefully, holding a crystal longbow, her eyes reflecting a sea of stars.
