Emperor of the Heavenly Sword

When the lord of Cheongeomseong suddenly dies, and soon after his wife is found dead in a gruesome state, the best warrior of Cheongeomseong and the lord’s sworn brother, Yuk Jung-gyeong, is named as the murderer. Realizing it is a plot aimed at him, he still chooses to take his own life in front of his young son, Yuk Cho-yeong, in order to protect the boy.

Determined to grow himself with everything he has for the sake of his father, Cho-yeong returns to Cheongeomseong as the eye of the storm, a man who set out to uncover the great conspiracy behind his father’s death and become heaven itself.

The single will left in his heart: trust no one in the world but yourself. No, at times, do not even trust your own judgment.
