Easy to Please

The moment Lee Won faced the woman her lover was going to marry, she knew that in front of her, she would have to lower her head like a sinner for the rest of her life.

The man answered with a fierce laugh between his teeth.

“Lee Won, I bought your whole life.”

As he looked down at her, he took the envelope from Lee Won’s hand. Rubbing slowly over the thin envelope as if mocking how little it contained, he said,

“With this petty cash, you can’t buy me.”

Then, as if stuffing pocket money into a child’s hand, he shoved it into the pocket of her top. After that, he tapped Lee Won’s chest with a large hand and said,

“Don’t think about giving it to someone else or returning it. Keep it. Who knows? If you keep saving until the day you die, maybe I’ll let you go after that.”

In other words, don’t even think about escaping before you die. Lee Won glared at his arrogant face and wiped the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand.

“Son of a bitch.”

“You should have been careful when you decided to take money from that son of a bitch. You can’t back out now.”

The man laughed viciously and shoved Lee Won’s arm aside.

Her lips were swallowed again. The hand that locked around her nape so she couldn’t run was frighteningly firm. When she closed and opened her eyes at the unreal sensation, once again she was beneath him.
