The overall setting of the story is fictional, but the characters have real-life inspirations. The stories in this book may forever be nothing more than my one-sided fantasy. No matter what, football once moved me. In those busy and helpless years, football gave me joy and dreams. Now I bring that feeling out to share with everyone, hoping you can find something that moves you inside it.

I am about to start working, and many times I have thought about giving up football. But just as I wrote at the end of the novel: no matter when, no matter where, no matter what changes happen, there will always be a group of friends beside me who keep me from giving up.
