Crossing into The Condor Heroes: I Am the Wild One of the West

Yang Guo, the Condor Hero, is nothing but an unlucky guy.

Clearly, he could have had countless possibilities, but he only drank from one ladle. Clearly, he could have lived happily ever after, yet he lost an arm and suffered the bitterness of utter desolation.

The most beautiful woman favored him, but by some twist of fate he ended up wearing a green hat. He also had to endure sixteen years of painful separation.

To that, I can only say: being overly literary is a disease that needs treatment.

This time, since I am Yang Guo, I will walk his path for him. The girls he wronged, I will take care of for him. The unresolved regrets in his heart, I will make completely whole.

In one sentence: if your thoughts are not wild, how can you be called “Western Madman”!

What this book offers: it makes up for the original’s “sending the heroines away” and “green hat” literary-sentiment disease, and within a reasonable framework presents a purely satisfying Condor Hero story.

PS: The author believes stories, like life, should have a complete and happy ending, whether in the past or now. If there isn’t one, then change it!
