Black Backflow

Born poor and lowly, Chang Liu was stubborn to the core.

After receiving instruction from his respected master, did he ultimately repay kindness with betrayal?

Chang Liu was originally the most despicable soul-clan member in the Miu world. When his father’s corpse was thrown into Heifeng Abyss, he witnessed the most ominous and terrifying scene in the entire Miu world, and from then on the Black Spirit Talisman took root inside his body.

The Black Spirit Talisman was discovered by his master Tazhu and the Cloud Peak higher-up Qiu Fengyan. The two conspired repeatedly to steal it, but instead it allowed poor Chang Liu to steadily increase his power, becoming the famed Royal Black Knight of the Miu world.

Yet the rise of that poor boy left Qiu Fengyan and his master Tazhu, who both wanted to stand at the very top of the Miu world, unable to sit still. They set one trap after another, waiting for Chang Liu to fall into them...

In the end, Chang Liu chose not to turn a blind eye any longer. He cast aside the bond of master and disciple, became the Dark Demon King of the Dead Realm, and led the human descendants who were barely clinging to life to challenge his former master and the Cloud Peak.
