A Scholar Holds the Scroll, Stabilizing These Mountains and Rivers

[Drama · Historical]

Chen Jing, an office worker from the bureaucracy, has no background and is not good at socializing, yet he is sent to Qingtai County, the poorest and most chaotic county in the whole region, to take charge of the work. The predecessor left behind a mess and layers of hidden suspicions, and everyone is waiting to see him make a fool of himself. No one knows that this seemingly frail scholar is sharp in methods and decisive in action. As soon as he takes office, he breaks through the deadlock and opens a new path, rising all the way from a marginalized scholar to turning the situation around, rectifying disorder, leading the county’s rise, and stirring up trouble across the region!
