A Guide to the Destroyed World

Jung Yeowon wakes up after having been a cryogenic human. When he opens his eyes, it is 500 years in the future, in a world that has already been destroyed.

Monsters have emerged from Gates.

The awakened superpowered new humans who follow them are called espers.

And the world is completely different from the past.

Humans are no longer the rulers of Earth.

Espers, who must hunt monsters and protect cities, are instead driving the world further into ruin through rampaging. That is because all the guides who can calm espers have already vanished.

And then.

"I’m a guide?"

Hee-won is the only guide, miraculously awakened from a discarded cryogenic capsule.

She produces guiding medication that slows rampage and distributes it worldwide.

So the world moves one step away from destruction, but now she must protect herself from espers who want to find and seize guides for themselves.

Can a single drop of water that falls on parched earth soak the land, or will it dry up and disappear in the heat?
