페트 갈랑트(위험한 하녀)
“It’s a magical contract. It says they’re recruiting servants for a mansion belonging to some high-ranking person in the capital,” the young lady said. “For now, signing this is the only way you can leave this territory safely.” Why was such a contract coming out of the young lady’s drawer? “Before you sign it, there’s something you need to know. Once you enter that mansion in the capital, you absolutely cannot go out until your employment contract is terminated.” What was even stranger was the fact that ‘that mansion’ had a no-going-out clause. Being abducted into marriage by the old butler’s son versus going in as a servant to an unidentified noble family. It was a forced choice with no choice at all. There was no time to hesitate. “That’s fine. It’s not like I’m going to die, right?” I took the quill the young lady handed me and wrote my name at the end of the contract. Then the name written in black ink began to glow brightly. It was the light that would decide my fate.
