I Broke the Promise Once
Diarin, a great mage who was reborn as a fallen noble while retaining the memories of her previous life. Because of her striking beauty, she is adopted by a duke as his adopted daughter, and then, not content with that, is used as the pawn in a political marriage to the 8th prince, who has humble blood. However, before the wedding can even take place, her intended husband, the 8th prince Ezet, suddenly disappears in an accident. Two years later, Ezet, thought to be dead, returns alive as the continent’s greatest knight and rises as a candidate for the next crown prince. Everyone now expects Ezet to cast aside Diarin, his former fiancée. But— “I will personally break off the engagement for you.” “Is that the Duke of Concl’s intention?” “It’s my intention.” Ezet accepts Diarin’s proposal to request a one-year grace period before the engagement is dissolved. ‘Was I in your memories?’
