A Newbie’s Best-Seed Maker
Hieyeon was lured into starting the game <Märchen Horizon> by the promise that it was a healing game. She expected a peaceful healing life with cute animals. What greeted her instead were mysterious monsters, and veteran players who were dead set on raising newbies, down to even secretly slipping items into her inventory! * [“That person whose name cannot be spoken” has requested a trade.] “…Why?” “Please accept the trade, okay? Please, newbie. Please accept it.” With a displeased expression, Hieyeon accepted the trade request for now. The moment a window divided into sections appeared before her, all sorts of items began filling it. “This is newbie support settlement money! It’s our tradition!” What even is that. Why are they arbitrarily creating a settlement-support system the game company itself didn’t even make? Where on earth is there such a tradition? Hieyeon, flustered, canceled the trade for now. That mysterious “person whose name cannot be spoken” was horrified by her choice. “Why! Why are you refusing? Do you not like it? Is it not enough? Newbie! Don’t go! It’s dangerous to head into the forest with nothing!” [“That person whose name cannot be spoken” has requested a trade. Refused.] [You were hit by the skill <Sneaking Things In>.] “What?” [Obtained <Golden Wild Grape Tree Fruit> ×150.] [Obtained <Avicenna Recovery Potion (Creator - The Magic World Is Ruined)> ×200.] [Obtained <Congealed Malice (Creator - The Magic World Is Ruined)> ×50.] [Obtained <Beginner’s Basic Dagger, astonishingly excellent and sharp (Creator - That person whose name cannot be spoken)>.] [Obtained <Beginner’s Basic Leather Armor, astonishingly excellent, sturdy, and durable (Creator - That person whose name cannot be spoken)>.] [Obtained <Beginner’s Basic Leather Shoes, astonishingly excellent and swift (Creator - That person whose name cannot be spoken)>.] [Achievement achieved: <Sneaking Things In…? I got got, ugh!>] [Achievement effect: Villagers feel strangely sorry for you and want to help whenever they see you.] “Then, newbie! Adios!” The sneak-thief waved a black cloak and disappeared. “…I think they’re insane.”
